Catella acted as FinCap’s financial advisor in the sale of a healthcare property in the centre of Vaasa

Catella acted as FinCap Kiinteistökehitys Oy’s financial advisor in the sale of a hospital and medical centre property under construction in the city centre of Vaasa. The property has been fully leased to Mehiläinen with a long lease agreement. The buyer is an international real estate investor Cofinimmo with its investment manager Mirabel Partners Oy. Cofinimmo is listed on Euronext Brussels (BEL20) and the transaction is company’s first investment in Finland.

The property is located in the city centre of Vaasa, next to the market square. The construction work of the modern six-storey medical centre is under way and will be completed in the fall of 2021. The floor area of the building will be approximately 4,200 square metre. In addition, 52 parking spaces in the parking garage are included in the transaction.  

The property has been fully leased to Mehiläinen Oy with a 20-year lease agreement. The building will comprise premises for a medical centre, occupational health services, hospital and dental services. The property is being constructed by YIT Suomi Oy.

The transaction price is EUR 20 million.
