Catella advised on the sale of a hotel property in the Oulu city centre

SRV and real estate investment company Balder Finland signed an agreement for the sale of Oulu Torihotelli and the completion of its construction in July 2025. As a result of the transaction, construction works will resume in autumn 2025, and the property will be completed by summer 2026, just in time for the European Capital of Culture Oulu2026 celebrations.

The property has a leasable area of approximately 6,500 square metres and has a prime location in the centre of Oulu, adjacent to the market square. It will house a 144-room Scandic Go hotel, bringing modern accommodation to the area. The ground floor will feature an approximately 1,800-square-metre restaurant and event space operated by local company 2 Fam Group Oy. Parking services for the property will be provided by Aimo Park Finland Oy.
