Catella acted as the financial advisor to Senate Properties in the sale of VTT's property located in Linnanmaa, Oulu, at Kaitoväylä 1. The buyers were Y-K Oy Finland and Hongisto Oy.
The property was constructed between 1989 and 2001 for the Oulu unit of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd. After the transaction, VTT will continue as the primary occupier of the building, while some premises are leased to other tenants. All lease agreements were transferred to the new owners as part of the transaction.
The buildings are situated on a freehold site of 65,136 sqm. The total gross floor area of the buildings is approximately 25,962 sqm, of which approximately 22,200 sqm is leasable area.
