In CREDI Q2 2023, the main index rose from the 2022 rock bottom back to the level seen one year ago.
The real estate debt market conditions remained poor during the first half of the year and each financing term’s subindex was weaker than forecasted by the survey six months ago. Financing availability and LTV ratios, in particular, developed slower that expected during the first half of the year. Most of the respondents do not believe the real estate debt market to decline during the rest of the year but to remain stable.
