Catella Investment Management Advisory is seeking a Senior Analyst (m/f/d) to join the Market Strategy & Product Development team, working closely with investment, fund management and business development teams across Europe. The team identifies market opportunities, evaluates investment themes and supports the development of innovative investment strategies and products.
Objective of Role
The role sits at the intersection of investment research and product development, supporting the identification, evaluation and development of investment opportunities, strategies and products across European real estate. The successful candidate will be based in Munich, Germany. The role will report into Petra Blazkova (Head of Market Strategy & Product Development).
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify investment opportunities, investor demand and emerging market trends.
- Generate market and investor insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
- Assess the commercial viability of new investment concepts and product initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of investment strategies, product concepts and business plans.
- Translate market intelligence into actionable product and strategic recommendations.
Accountabilities
- Produce real estate, competitor and investor intelligence analysis.
- Build business plans for new investment products and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare financial models, cash flow analyses and investment cases.
- Maintain market, product and competitor intelligence databases and materials.
- Collaborate with investment, fund management, business development and research teams across Catella Group.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- University degree in Real Estate, Finance or Economics.
- Around 5 years' experience in real estate, investment strategy or product development.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the use of AI, data analytics and other digital tools.
- Experience with financial modelling, cash flow analysis and business case preparation.
- Ability to interpret market, investment and investor data and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English and German; additional languages are advantageous.
