Spaces for the future: sustainable construction, urban thinking!
Freiburg is considered a pioneer in sustainability and urban quality of life. But even here, challenges are mounting: housing demand, climate-friendly transformation, rising construction costs and the need for sustainable urban development are coming up against limited space and conflicting interests. How can construction continue responsibly and innovatively under these conditions?
At the Freiburg Real Estate Dialogue, stakeholders from the city, business, science and planning come together to discuss concrete solutions for the region.
Klaus Franken from Catella Project Management, together with Manuel Baur from badenovaNETZE GmbH, Leo Beyer from Beyer Immobilien GmbH, Nicole Farrelly from Sparkasse Freiburg-Nördlicher Breisgau and Wolfgang Seiler from EDEKA Südwest to address the question: Housing, infrastructure, neighbourhoods – which investments are worthwhile?
⏰ 3 December | 2:20–3:05 p.m. | Project development in crisis – which investments are worthwhile?
➡️ (Residential) construction – what is still possible here?
➡️ Investments in infrastructure – sensible or risky?
➡️ How much leeway does the food retail sector need to ensure local neighbourhood supply?
We are very much looking forward to an exciting exchange!
