On a 7.5 hectare site, Catella is planning a new urban residential quarter - Düssel-Terrassen. Starting in 2025, apartments for people of all ages and income levels will be built right next to the shopping district in Alt-Erkrath. 40% regulated apartments, a park of more than one hectare with various playgrounds, a mobility station and the largely car-free design speak for the new urban quarter.

Düssel-Terrassen was awarded the title of climate protection settlement by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Prerequisites for the certification are the climate-friendly energy production which is made possible by the use of innovative technologies as well as the fulfilment of special urban development and architectural requirements for modern and sustainable living. In 2023, Düssel-Terrassen was also certified as a KlimaQuartier.NRW.
