Catella supports Ukraine’s victims of war

Catella is a pan-European company with values built on respect and human rights. We therefore feel it is not only our duty but simply the right thing to do to support the Ukrainian people.

Ukraine is a part of our community and our biggest owner, the Claesson & Anderzén (CA) group, has a longstanding and deep involvement in, as well as close personal relationships in the country. The CA group locally supports with deliveries of basic supplies and transports, as well as providing accommodation for those who have had to flee.

Catella Group helps the refugees with accommodation, medical supplies, and a donation to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Amongst others, Catella AB donates SEK 502 000 to UNCHR (SEK 1,000 per full time employee) and their humanitarian aid operations. Catella Residential Investment Management has donated 50 000 Euro for medicine and medical supplies and makes housing facilities available to Ukrainian refugees in Germany.

“The Russian invasion of Ukraine leaves nobody indifferent, and of course we want to show our solidarity with the Ukrainian people through local help initiatives as well as supporting those who have had to flee their homes. Most of all, we wish for a quick end to this conflict. Our thoughts go out to the people of Ukraine,” says Christoffer Abramson, CEO and President of Catella.

Catella AB has no employees, funds or projects in Ukraine or Russia, but as fellow human beings we want to help those in need. We sincerely hope that more organizations continue to find ways to help the people of Ukraine.
