Arlington Business Park is a multi-let business park located on the outskirts of Reading adjacent to Junction 12 of the M4 motorway which leads from London to Bristol. Catella APAM acquired in 2015 for £69M (part sub-sold at acquisition). The park consists of c. 365K sq ft of office accommodation across 11 office buildings. Catella APAM initiated a repositioning of the business park including a £33M CapEx programme which includes seven whole building refurbishments, the creation of an on-site tenant amenity hub including café facility, gymnasium, park shop, meeting room facilities and Floating Pavilion and also Initiated tenant engagement and events programme to engender community spirit on park. Headline rental levels have increased by c. 25% . The Park recently won the ‘2020 The Morgan Lovell Workplace of the Future award’ as well as the ‘2020 Business Park Innovation award. The business park was sold in February 2020 to Singaporean investor Capitaland for £129.25M. Capitaland has retained Catella APAM as asset manager.
