Catella Property: Monceau Assurances acquires a Haussmanian type office building in the heart of the CBD

The mutual insurance group has acquired full ownership of a building located at 36 rue de l'Arcade in the 8ᵉ arrondissement of Paris from a private owner.

Located in the heart of the Central Business District, between Place de la Madeleine and Boulevard Haussmann, 36 rue de l'Arcade enjoys a prestigious location in a dynamic environment with excellent public transport links.

The property has a beautiful Haussmanian stone façade, with its spindly balconies and ornaments. The building has 1,330 sq.m of usable floor space on five floors for office use and a basement for archives. It is multi-tenanted and has office space of approximately 200 sq.m per floor.

Monceau Assurances acquired this building from a private owner with the objective of holding it for investment purposes.

In this transaction, the seller was advised by ROC Notaires. Monceau Assurances was advised by Aguesseau Notaires, Forestier-Hinfray Avocats et Associés and Maitre Christine Chopin.

The transaction was carried out by Catella Property under an exclusive mandate.
