Ivanhoé Cambridge continues to grow its Hub&Flow logistics platform with the acquisition of a 49,000 sq.m warehouse in Mer, south of the Paris region

Ivanhoé Cambridge announces the acquisition from Catella Logistic Europe of a new logistics asset to be developped in Mer, south of Orléans. Ideally located in a business park, the warehouse of approximatively 49,000 sq.m will benefit from a strategic position close to the A10 motorway, less than two hours from Paris and France’s largest consumer market.

Mer is particularly noteworthy for a location that favours local logistics, complementing the main hubs of the Paris-Lyon-Marseille corridor, and is highly valued by players seeking a tighter distribution network.

In February 2020, Ivanhoé Cambridge acquired Hub&Flow, a portfolio of logistics assets in the main hubs of Paris and Lyon (read the news release), and completed this the following November by acquiring a 36,000 sq.m logistics platform in Roye (read the news release). The addition of this new asset will bring the Hub&Flow portfolio to 19 assets for a total of 515,000 sq.m.

This latest-generation Mer platform (Class A), will feature high environmental standards (BREEAM Very Good rating). Catella Logistic Europe will oversee its completion, strengthening the collaboration initiated with Ivanhoé Cambridge in 2020. The Panhard Group, which is already managing this portfolio, will continue its work on this new warehouse.

Ivanhoé Cambridge was advised in this transaction by Allez & Associés, Gide Loyrette Nouel, Panhard, Etyo and BNP Paribas Real Estate. Catella Logistic Europe received guidance from Haussmann Notaires, Reed Smith, Gnat Ingénierie, Cubic 33 France, Top Management, Longevity Partners and Catella Property Consultants. The transaction was carried out under a co-exclusive mandate.
